Honest limits: The Fear & Greed Index is computed once per day by a
third-party provider (alternative.me) from several signals — volatility, momentum and volume,
social media, Bitcoin dominance and search trends. The exact weighting is not fully public,
and the index primarily reflects Bitcoin, not the whole market. Sentiment is
not a timing signal: markets can stay "greedy" and keep rising, or stay "fearful" and
keep falling, for a long time. The history starts in February 2018 — earlier cycles are
missing. This dashboard is an analysis tool — no investment advice, no trade execution.
