Three Systems.
One Signal.
TRIFECTA combines sequence counting (ATD), structure validation and momentum analysis (AMC) into tiered buy and sell signals — right on your TradingView chart. A 3/3 signal only appears when all three systems agree.
Turning points on high timeframes — to the exact candle.
That is exactly what TRIFECTA is built for: not for hectic scalps, but for the few moments when a market genuinely turns. Three pieces of evidence from calibration — each one verifiable on the chart.
The Bitcoin bottom — to the candle
The 3/3 buy signal appeared exactly at the reversal candle of the bear-market low. Not days early, not weeks late.
Daily 3/3 — every signal in profit
In the Bitcoin backtest, each of the three daily 3/3 signals since 2022 closed profitably. A small sample — but the indicator's strictest filter tier.
4h in constructive phases
In trending market phases, five out of five signals hit on the 4h chart. In sideways markets the timing layer stays considerably more demanding — that is part of the picture too.
Historical backtest results on Bitcoin over the periods stated, achieved with the indicator's default settings in the TradingView Strategy Tester. The samples are deliberately small because 3/3 signals are rare — they are not statistical proof of a hit rate. Past results are not a reliable indicator of future results. There is a risk of losing your entire capital; details in the risk warning.
See TRIFECTA in motion.
From the core principle to every single chart symbol — the animated walkthrough of the indicator and its signals.
A signal only appears when three independent systems agree.
Single indicators fire constantly — most of it is noise. TRIFECTA runs three methodically different systems independently and only speaks up when exhaustion, structure and momentum line up.
Originally a bet that only wins when three outcomes are picked correctly at once — a single hit counts for nothing. That exact principle powers the indicator: the 3/3 signal only appears when all three systems independently reach the same conclusion. Not more often. But with substance.
Advanced TD Sequencing
Counts 1–9 exhaustion sequences on every candle, detects perfected setups and waits for the confirmation candle after the 9 — the signal doesn't come at the presumed top, but after the turn. Plus: dynamic support/resistance levels (TDST) with strength counter and volume weighting.
Advanced Impulse Qualifier
Checks every completed 9 against the hard impulse base rules (wave 2, wave 3, wave 4 overlap) — automatically, using the sub-waves of the lower timeframe. A quality filter: only if the move has genuine impulse character does the 9 count as an exhaustion candidate. Tracks ABC corrections and warns when a correction extends into a complex pattern (WXY) instead of sending you into a falling knife.
Adaptive Momentum Confluence
A WaveTrend-based momentum oscillator with a money-flow filter marks oversold and overbought extreme zones. Only when momentum turns inside the extreme zone and money flow agrees does AMC cast its vote for the signal.
Four tiers — from observation to the king signal.
You decide how strictly to filter. Every tier can be shown or hidden individually, and each one has its own TradingView alerts.
Confirmation
The confirmation candle after a completed 9 sequence. The raw signal for everyone who wants to see every turn.
Setup + confluence
A completed 9 with perfection or right at an active support/resistance level — including level strength in the label.
Two of three
Confirmation after a structure-validated 9 (⑨) plus at least one more system (mature higher timeframe or AMC momentum).
The king signal
All three systems agree. Rare — and built exactly for that. TRIFECTA's highest quality tier.
The language of the chart — every symbol, every meaning.
TRIFECTA marks everything right on your candles. Here is the complete legend — including each symbol's significance from ▲ (context information) to ▲▲▲▲ (top signal).
Green count 1–9 (below the candles)
Buy setup: the market is falling in sequence. The higher the number, the more mature the decline — the 9 marks possible seller exhaustion. Not a buy signal yet, but the countdown toward one.
The green count is the downward TD sequence. It begins as soon as the market enters an orderly decline and counts that sequence step by step up to 9.
Why the 9 matters
Nine qualifying candles in a row mean sellers have pushed price down for nine periods. Experience shows a move's force is often spent by then — the 9 marks possible seller exhaustion.
Not a buy signal yet
The count is the countdown, not the entry. Only the following confirmation candle (triangle) plus the confluence of AIQ and AMC turn it into a real signal. If the sequence breaks first, it restarts — only a cleanly counted 1-to-9 run qualifies.
In practice
The higher the number (7, 8, 9), the more mature the decline. You see early that a bottom is structurally approaching — without blindly catching a falling knife.
Red count 1–9 (above the candles)
Sell setup: the market is rising in sequence. The red 9 marks possible buyer exhaustion — be careful with late long entries, profit-taking is getting closer.
The mirror image to the upside: the red count runs above the candles and counts an orderly advance step by step up to 9.
What the red 9 says
After nine up-periods in a row, the red 9 marks possible buyer exhaustion. This is the moment when late long entries become especially risky and profit-taking moves closer.
Context, not a sell signal
As with the green count, the 9 is only the preparation. The actual sell signal only forms with confirmation and confluence. If the sequence breaks, it counts again from the start.
In practice
A mature red count is your early-warning system against buying the high — especially when the timeframe panel simultaneously shows a high count on the weekly/monthly.
Diamond — perfected 9
The 9 additionally satisfies the perfection rule (extreme-price condition of candles 8/9 against 6/7). A quality mark: perfected sequences mark turning points more reliably.
The diamond is a quality mark for the 9. It appears when the 9 additionally satisfies the perfection rule.
What "perfected" means
The 9 counts as perfected when the end of the sequence forms a fresh extreme — so the exhaustion happens at the outermost point of the move, not in one that is already fading. TRIFECTA checks the exact condition automatically.
Display
Green diamond below a buy 9, red diamond above a sell 9. If perfection isn't met when the 9 appears, one of the following candles can trigger it later — the diamond then shows up with a delay.
In practice
Perfected sequences mark turning points more reliably. Signals built on a diamond 9 carry more weight and show the ★ in their label.
Star — continuation candle
Momentum candle during a running count (close beyond the previous candle's extreme): the next candle likely continues the trend. A tactical hint, not an entry signal.
The star marks an especially powerful candle in the middle of a running count — it breaks beyond the previous candle's extreme and accelerates the move.
What it says
Such a thrust shows the current move still has force. The probability that the next candle continues the trend rises.
Not an entry signal
The star is a tactical timing hint within the move, not for the turn. It says "the trend is still running," not "get in."
In practice
A star during a running green count warns against betting on the bottom too early — the decline just added force. In a red count, the reverse.
Green dotted line — support level (TDST)
Forms at the low of every completed sell sequence. Gets stronger (×2, ×3 …) and thicker with every successful test and on high volume. If price breaks the level, it turns gray and freezes.
The green dotted line is an automatically drawn support level (TDST). It forms at the low of every completed sell sequence (red 1–9) and is held as a horizontal line.
Strength — the ×n mechanic
Each level starts at ×1. Every successful test (price touches the level and turns) raises its strength: ×2, ×3, ×4 … High volume on the test reinforces it further. As strength grows, the line gets thicker — an often-tested level is a strong zone.
Break
If price closes clearly below the level, it loses its function: the line turns grey and frozen and remains visible only as a historical marker.
In practice
Buy signals that form right at a strong level carry the strength in their label ("@S×3" = at support of strength 3) and are weighted higher.
Red dotted line — resistance level (TDST)
The counterpart at the high of every completed buy sequence. Signals that appear right at strong levels carry the level strength in their label (e.g. "@R×3").
The counterpart to the upside: the red dotted line is a resistance level (TDST) that forms at the high of every completed buy sequence (green 1–9).
Same strength mechanic
×n applies here too: every test that holds raises the strength and thickens the line; high volume reinforces. If price breaks clearly upward, the level turns grey and frozen.
Level strength in the signal
Sell signals right at a resistance carry the strength in their label ("@R×2" = at resistance of strength 2).
In practice
Resistances that hold repeatedly are zones for taking profit. Conversely, a break with volume above a strong ×n level is a sign of genuine strength.
1M ▼ 9
Timeframe panel (top right)
Live count of the higher timeframes (weekly/monthly). ▲ = rising sequence (counting down toward the sell zone), ▼ = falling sequence (counting down toward the buy zone). A mature higher count (e.g. "1M ▼9") is the context in which the strongest signals appear.
The panel in the top right of the chart tracks the ATD count of the higher timeframes live — typically weekly (1W) and monthly (1M) — regardless of which timeframe you're currently viewing.
Why it matters
TRIFECTA weights signals by whether the higher-level context is mature. A "1M ▼9" means: on a monthly basis too the falling market is nearing exhaustion — the strongest tailwind for a buy signal on the lower timeframe.
Reading it
Arrow = direction of the running sequence, number = maturity (1–9), colour follows your count colour scheme. Important: the arrow is not a signal — ▲ only means "the market is rising in sequence, moving one step closer to the sell zone", ▼ the buy zone accordingly.
In practice
Use the panel as a filter: a 3/3 on the daily chart weighs more when the week and month have also counted far. If the higher timeframe is running freshly in the opposite direction, caution is warranted.
Triangle — confirmation candle
The first counter-candle after a completed 9: the market confirms the turn. The ATD system's raw entry signal — frequent, but unfiltered.
The triangle is the ATD system's first concrete entry signal. After a completed 9, TRIFECTA waits for the first candle that confirms the turn and places a green triangle below it (or red above the candle on a sell).
Why wait for confirmation
The 9 only marks possible exhaustion. The triangle waits until the market actually begins to turn — this reduces false signals compared with blindly buying the 9.
A raw signal
The triangle comes from the ATD system alone, without wave or momentum confirmation. It appears frequently. Only combined with AIQ and AMC do the higher tiers (2/3, 3/3) form.
In practice
Very active traders use triangles as the earliest entries; those who trade selectively hide them and wait for 2/3 or 3/3.
A+ / B+ — trend extension nearing completion
Not every trend ends at its first exhaustion point. The extensions start at the completed 9 and measure how far the trend stretches beyond this first exhaustion point — the trend's maturity gauge. A (orange) reacts earlier and more sensitively, B (purple) is stricter and confirms later. A+ / B+ appears once the extension is nearly complete and only the final confirmation is pending. The optional detail mode additionally shows the running count at every qualifying candle ("A3"; "B7,1" = another one running in parallel) — as long as the count keeps ticking, the trend is intact.
Not every trend ends at the first 9 — strong moves run beyond it. The trend extensions measure exactly this stretch. They start at the completed 9 and count the continuation step by step through to its full completion.
Two types: A and B
- A (orange) reacts earlier and more sensitively — it flags a stretch even while the trend continues only tentatively.
- B (purple) is stricter and demands a firmer continuation — so B usually completes later than A.
A+ / B+ and the detail mode
A+ / B+ appears once the extension is nearly complete and only the final confirmation is pending. The optional detail mode additionally shows the running count at each candle ("A3"); "A7,1" means another extension of the same type is running in parallel in the background.
In practice
As long as extensions keep counting, the trend is intact — they confirm continuation, not just the end. A counter-signal count or a break of the associated level cancels the extension.
A✓ / B✓ — extension complete
The extension is fully complete: the trend has stretched to the maximum — the probability of a reversal or extended correction rises. Most meaningful in confluence: if the completion coincides with a new ATD top/bottom, trend exhaustion and stretch exhaustion meet — one of the strongest contexts the indicator can show.
The stretch count is fully complete: the move is maxed out. The trend has not only reached its normal extent (the 9) but has stretched all the way to the end.
What it means
The probability of a reversal or an extended correction rises significantly. A✓ usually appears before B✓; several extensions of the same type can complete one after another.
The strongest case: confluence
If an extension completion coincides with a new ATD 9 (top/bottom), two exhaustions meet: that of the count and that of the stretch. This is one of the most meaningful contexts the indicator can show.
In practice
An A✓/B✓ is a signal to raise your guard — not an automatic exit, but a strong hint to secure profits or take counter-signals more seriously.
⑨ — structure-validated 9
A 9 whose price window passes all hard impulse base rules: the move has genuine impulse character — a high-grade exhaustion candidate. From here a correction or reversal becomes more likely.
Whenever a 9 completes, TRIFECTA checks — via the lower timeframe — whether the move behind it was also structurally sound: the 9-candle window is broken down into its sub-moves and tested against the three immovable impulse base rules. If it passes all three, the orange ⑨ appears — the structure-validated 9.
The three immovable rules
- Wave 2 never retraces more than 100% of wave 1.
- Wave 3 is never the shortest of the three impulse waves (1, 3, 5).
- Wave 4 never overlaps the price territory of wave 1.
Why this is higher-grade
The rule check works as a quality filter: it asks whether the move inside the window has genuine impulse character at all. A 9 at the end of a clean, directional move is a far stronger exhaustion candidate than a 9 built from choppy back-and-forth.
Important
The ⑨ makes no claim about wave degree — whether a move was part of a larger cycle often only becomes clear later. You read the higher-level context; the ⑨ delivers the structure-checked timing.
In practice
The ⑨ is the basis of the higher combo signals. Without a passed structure check there is no 2/3 and no 3/3 in that direction. If several ⑨s follow in the same direction, the chain count ticks up (⑨², ⑨³⁺) — see its own legend entry.
⑨² / ⑨³⁺ — chain count
If a structure-validated 9 is followed by another one in the same direction, the chain ticks up: ⑨², and from the third onwards ⑨³⁺. The first ⑨ is the best reversal candidate — ⑨² and ⑨³⁺ show that the market has overrun exhaustion: an impulse of higher degree. Avoid counter-positions.
The chain count answers the question every ⑨ raises: was that already the turn — or is a larger impulse running here? It counts how many structure-validated 9s appear in a row in the same direction and shows the tally right on the symbol.
How it counts
- Only structure-validated ⑨s count. A 9 that fails the structure filter (AIQ ✖) is no exhaustion candidate — it neither raises the chain nor resets the opposite side.
- A chain is reset exclusively by a validated ⑨ in the opposite direction — only the other side's exhaustion ends the series.
How to read it
- ⑨ (first of a chain) — the best reversal candidate: fresh, structure-checked exhaustion.
- ⑨² — the market has overrun the first exhaustion. Be careful with counter-positions; the trend is stronger than the exhaustion.
- ⑨³⁺ — a pronounced impulse of higher degree. Trading against this trend is the most expensive; at this point the chain is above all a trend-strength gauge.
In practice
The chain count is display-only: signals, alerts and the backtest strategy remain unchanged, and there is no repainting risk. It delivers the wave-degree context a single symbol cannot — right on the chart instead of in hindsight.
ABC ✔ — correction complete
After a structure-validated 9 (⑨), the counter-move has played out by the rules (1–4 candles, retracement within limits) and the trend picks up speed again. The basis of many re-entries.
After a structure-validated 9 (⑨), TRIFECTA expects a counter-move in three swings (A-B-C). TRIFECTA monitors this correction and marks ABC ✔ once it has played out by the rules — typically 1–4 candles with a retracement within the expected range.
What it means
The correction is complete, the overarching trend picks up speed again. This is the structural basis of many re-entries in the trend direction.
Distinction
If the correction runs beyond its range, ABC becomes a complex structure (→ WXY?), and ABC ✔ does not appear.
In practice
ABC ✔ helps you re-enter with the trend after a breather rather than against it — and distinguishes a healthy correction from a genuine trend reversal.
WXY? — complex correction
Warning: price has broken the ABC extreme again — the correction continues as a complex structure. The previous entry idea is void. Protects you from the falling knife.
An active warning. Price has broken back through the extreme of the expected ABC correction — the counter-move is continuing not as a simple A-B-C but as a nested, complex structure (W-X-Y pattern).
What it means
The previous entry idea (re-entry after ABC) is void. The market is in a murkier phase in which simple turn setups often fail.
Why it's valuable
This is exactly where traders often catch the falling knife. The WXY? actively tells you: wait, the structure isn't finished yet.
In practice
A WXY? is a reason to hold back planned entries until a clean structure forms again — a new 9, a structure-validated ⑨, or a new ABC ✔.
AIQ ✖ — impulse rejected
The sub-wave check failed (e.g. wave-4 overlap, "W4"). The 9 looks like a turn, but the structure disagrees — TRIFECTA suppresses the signal and tells you why.
Whenever a 9 completes, TRIFECTA checks whether the move behind the 1–9 count was structurally sound. To do so it breaks the 9-candle window down into its sub-moves via the lower timeframe and tests the three immovable impulse base rules. If everything is clean → the orange ⑨ (structure-validated 9) appears. If even one rule is broken → instead of the ⑨ you get "AIQ ✖", and the 9 is not counted as a high-grade exhaustion candidate.
The ✖ and the W-codes
AIQ ✖ = "structure check failed" — the move fails the impulse check. The W-digits tell you which rule was broken:
| Code | Rule violated |
|---|---|
| W2 | Wave 2 retraced more than 100% of wave 1 (ran below the starting point) — wave 2 may never exceed the beginning of wave 1. |
| W3 | Wave 3 was the shortest of the three impulse waves — wave 3 may never be the shortest. |
| W4 | Wave 4 entered the price territory of wave 1 (overlap) — wave 4 may not overlap wave 1. |
The combinations
The codes are simply strung together, depending on how many rules are broken at once:
- AIQ ✖ W3 → only the wave-3 rule violated.
- AIQ ✖ W3+W4 → two rules: wave 3 was the shortest and wave 4 overlapped wave 1.
- AIQ ✖ W2+W3+W4 → all three rules violated: the impulse has practically nothing in common with a real impulse.
As a rule of thumb: the more codes, the further the structure is from a clean impulse.
What it means for you in practice
"AIQ ✖" is a filter signal: it tells you this 9 does not come from a clean impulse structure. Concretely, TRIFECTA then suppresses:
- the ⑨ (no structure marker),
- the combined buy/sell signal (no 2/3, no 3/3),
- and the ABC correction monitoring.
So it is a warning that the TD-9 is there, but not backed by a clean impulse structure.
Green dot — momentum turns up
The momentum oscillator crosses up inside the oversold extreme zone (or exits it), with money flow agreeing. Often near local lows — strongest together with a 9.
The third system (AMC) is a momentum oscillator with a money-flow filter. The green dot appears when momentum turns up inside the oversold extreme zone (or exits it) and money flow agrees.
Why both conditions
Momentum alone often turns several times within a move. Only the money-flow confirmation filters the noise — the dot appears only when capital is actually flowing in the opposite direction.
Timing
Green dots often sit near local lows. They are strongest together with a 9 at the same spot — then exhaustion (ATD) and the momentum turn (AMC) meet.
In practice
The dot is the timing component. On its own it is no signal, but it delivers the precise turning moment within a mature ATD setup.
Red dot — momentum turns down
The counterpart in the overbought zone: momentum tips over while the market has run hot. Together with a red 9 and a resistance level, a warning to take seriously.
The counterpart in the overbought zone: momentum tips over to the downside and money flow agrees while the market has run hot.
Timing
Red dots often sit near local highs. Together with a red 9 and a resistance level they are a warning to take seriously.
Why the money-flow filter
As with the green dot, money flow filters the noise: the dot appears only when capital is actually flowing out — not on every brief momentum flicker.
In practice
The timing component for sell and profit-taking setups. It provides the moment; the confluence with ATD and AIQ provides the quality.
BUY / SELL ⑨ — setup with confluence
Validated 9 with perfection (★) or right at an active level ("@S×3" = at support of strength 3). The label shows you the signal's full reasoning at a glance.
The first selective signal tier. It appears on a validated 9 (⑨) with additional confluence — either perfection (★) or right at an active TDST level.
Reading the label
The label shows the full reasoning at a glance: direction (BUY/SELL), structure-validated 9 (⑨) and confluence source — "★" for a perfected 9, "@S×3" for support of strength 3, "@R×2" for resistance of strength 2.
Where it sits
Higher-grade than the raw triangle, but below 2/3 and 3/3: it rests on ATD + AIQ plus a level or perfection confluence, but without the full confirmation of all three systems.
In practice
For traders who want to enter more selectively than on the triangle, but don't want to wait for the rarer 3/3 signals.
BUY / SELL 2/3 — two of three systems
Confirmation candle after a structure-validated 9 (⑨) plus at least one more system (mature higher timeframe or AMC). The workhorse tier for regular setups.
Two of the three systems agree. Concretely: a confirmation candle after a structure-validated 9 (⑨) (ATD + AIQ) plus at least one more confirming element — a mature higher timeframe (panel) or an AMC momentum turn.
The workhorse tier
2/3 is more filtered than the ⑨ setup, but more frequent than 3/3 — a good compromise between signal quality and frequency for regular setups.
Label
"BUY 2/3" or "SELL 2/3", often with the contributing sources appended (e.g. "ATD+AIQ+AMC").
In practice
Many traders use 2/3 as their primary trading tier and treat the rare 3/3 as an especially high-quality confirmation.
BUY 3/3 — the king signal
All three systems agree: mature sequence with confirmation, verified structure, turning momentum — and the higher timeframe is ripe. Rare, but the highest quality tier.
The king signal. All three systems agree simultaneously:
- a mature ATD sequence with a confirmation candle,
- a structure-validated 9 (⑨),
- turning AMC momentum (green dot),
and, in addition, the higher timeframe is mature (panel).
Rare — by design
Exhaustion, structure and momentum all point the same way. This is the strongest context TRIFECTA can produce, and filtered accordingly strictly. A 3/3 does not appear often — but it marks the highest-quality turning zones.
Important
No signal guarantees profits. A 3/3 is the point at which the indicator's three methodically independent systems agree the most — risk management remains your job in every case.
SELL 3/3 — the counterpart
The same triple confluence to the downside: exhaustion after an extended advance, verified structure, tipping momentum. The cue to protect profits.
The same triple confluence to the downside: exhaustion after an extended advance (red 9 + confirmation), a structure-validated 9 (⑨) to the upside and tipping momentum (red dot) — with a mature higher timeframe.
What it marks
The indicator's strongest warning to the upside. SELL 3/3 often appears at cycle or interim highs, when all three systems jointly signal exhaustion.
In practice
The classic context to secure profits or — depending on your strategy — to consider short setups. As with all signals: it is a filter statement, not a profit guarantee.
Note: "significance" describes the filter tier within TRIFECTA — not the probability of a profitable trade. No symbol replaces risk management.
Real charts, real signals — far beyond crypto.
TRIFECTA was calibrated on Bitcoin — the logic works wherever price and volume speak: crypto, stocks, indices, commodities. Twelve unedited TradingView screenshots straight from the indicator, from the monthly down to the hourly level.
From bear-market bottom to cycle top: green 9 in late 2022 near $16,000, red ⑨s on the way up in 2024 at $73,000 and $106,000 — in 2026 price is testing the green support level around $60,000 while the monthly count in the panel already reads "Buy 9" again.
Five decades on the monthly chart: BUY 3/3 at the long-term bottoms of the 1980s, late 1990s and 2015 — SELL 3/3 at the 2011 top around $1,900 and again into the 2025/26 spike above $5,000.
The red ⑨ exactly at the 2021 mega-top at $0.65 — and again at the 2025 high. In between, BUY confluence at the 2022/2023 bottoms. Meme-coin volatility, same discipline.
BUY 3/3 at the 2016 bottom around $22, BUY confluence at the 2022/23 correction — in between, a series of SELL 3/3 signals at the interim highs of the long uptrend to above $320 in 2026.
BUY ⑨ ★ at the 2022 bear-market low near $11 (split-adjusted) — then SELL 3/3 signals mark the 2024 and 2025 interim tops of the AI bull market.
BUY 3/3 — the king signal — right at the late-2022 bear-market low around $55. SELL 3/3 at the 2024/2025 interim highs, SELL ⑨ most recently into the spike above $550.
Almost four weeks of BTC hour by hour: SELL 3/3 at the local highs, BUY ⑨ and BUY 2/3 at the tests of the green support levels — the timing level delivers the precise turning points for entries.
The system delivers on the way down too: SELL 3/3 at the recovery highs at $0.155 and $0.11, BUY 2/3 at the interim bottoms — plus AIQ structure marks and ⑨ chain counting right on the chart.
Unedited TradingView screenshots with the indicator's default settings. Historical examples — selected to illustrate the signal logic. Past signals are not a reliable indicator of future results; not every signal plays out like these examples.
Built for the higher timeframes — from 1h to monthly.
Higher timeframe built in
Weekly and monthly counts run alongside and mature into the signals as filters — including a live panel (e.g. "1M,9") right on the chart. On 4h and 1h charts the daily count takes over the filter role, automatically scaled.
Levels with memory
Support and resistance emerge from completed sequences, get stronger with every test (×2, ×3 …) and only disappear on a true break.

Frequently asked questions.
Do I need a paid TradingView plan?
No. Invite-only indicators work with every TradingView account, including the free one. A paid TradingView plan can still be worthwhile for more simultaneous alerts or more indicators per chart.
Is this a subscription?
No. All plans are one-time purchases — there is no auto-renewal and nothing to cancel. With the 6- and 12-month plans your access simply ends automatically after the term. To extend, just order again; Lifetime access is permanent.
Which markets and timeframes does TRIFECTA work on?
TRIFECTA was developed and calibrated on Bitcoin with price data back to 2011. The logic runs on any market with price and volume data — supported timeframes are 1h, 4h, daily, weekly and monthly. The multi-timeframe filters scale automatically: on 1h and 4h charts the daily count acts as the higher-timeframe filter. Our clear recommendation: make your base decisions on daily/weekly/monthly and use 1h/4h as a fine-timing layer for entries in the direction of the prevailing trend — not as a standalone signal source. Timeframes below 1h are deliberately not supported.
Does the indicator repaint?
Signals appear exclusively at candle close and are never removed or moved afterwards. *The only methodical exception: the sub-wave validation uses lower-timeframe data that TradingView only provides for part of the history — older signals may therefore be filtered less strictly than recent ones.
Can I see which system triggered a signal?
Yes. Every signal source (ATD, AIQ, AMC, combo tiers) can be shown or hidden individually, and the combo labels show their composition directly (e.g. "BUY 3/3 – ATD+AIQ+AMC").
Are there alerts?
Yes, 12 alert types — for every signal tier in both directions. Set them up once on your symbol/timeframe and get notified whenever a signal appears.
Does TRIFECTA guarantee profits?
No — and be skeptical of anyone who promises that. TRIFECTA is an analysis tool that filters and visualizes market conditions. Trading decisions, risk management and responsibility remain yours. Please read the risk warning below.

Risk
Trading cryptocurrencies and other financial instruments involves substantial risk and can lead to the complete loss of the capital you commit. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose. Past results — including backtests and historical signals — are not a reliable indicator of future results. Backtests are based on historical data and model assumptions; real results can differ significantly.
